PROCESS
How we sterilize every instrument before treating you
A rigorous four-stage process guarantees that every instrument reaches your dental treatment completely safe.
1
Pre-wash and soak
Each instrument is immersed in enzymatic solution to soften and loosen organic residue before cleaning.
2
Manual and ultrasonic cleaning
Manual brushing is followed by cleaning in an ultrasonic bath to remove any residual contaminants.
3
Individual pouch packaging
Each instrument is packed in an individual pouch with chemical indicators that confirm exposure to the cycle.
4
Autoclave sterilization
The high-pressure, high-temperature steam cycle destroys any microorganism, spore or endotoxin present.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Everything you should know about dental sterilization
How can I know the instruments are really sterilized?
We use chemical indicators on every sterilization pouch and perform periodic biological tests. In addition, the pouches arrive sealed at your chair and are opened in front of you during the visit.
Do you use single-use instruments or reuse them?
We use both depending on the case. Reusable instruments go through the full sterilization cycle before each use. Single-use materials (needles, gloves, etc.) are discarded immediately after each patient.
How often is the autoclave checked and validated?
Our autoclave is validated with biological tests according to established protocols. Every cycle is recorded with temperature, pressure and duration to guarantee its effectiveness.
What measures do you take to protect the patient during treatment?
We use gloves, a mask, protective eyewear and a fresh gown for every patient. The work area is completely disinfected between visits and all instruments are sterilized without exception.
Do your protocols comply with international biosafety standards?
Yes. Our protocols follow the standards of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the American Dental Association (ADA), applying standards that go beyond local requirements.
Can I see the sterilization area before my appointment?
We would be glad to show you our facilities. Transparency is part of our values, and we believe that knowing the sterilization process builds greater trust with our patients.
